Woldingham Garden Centre Manager, Kevin Grimshaw was delighted to present the winner of our Nature Trail held in the half term week earlier last year with his prize.  Reiss Filler was successful in answering the questions and reaching the highest score for our new Nature Trail.

The Nature Trail will be open throughout the year with the competition running again next year throughout our wildlife week in May/June.

Kevin Grimshaw, pictured here with Reiss said "Its so nice to have children involved in the life and work of the Centre, and Reiss did extremely well to win. I am delighted to say we had a record number of entries to the competition this year. We hope Reiss and many others will enter again this year." 

Knights have received a number of calls for help from local schools, and with our emphasis on "Grow Your Own" this year its the perfect time to give support to our young.

Covering a wide area, Knights are giving advice, support and assistance to primary schools who want to establish allotments, raised vegetable beds, herb gardens and more besides.  Many schools entered the Knights Scarecrow competition in May.

Managing Director, David Knight said  "These are exciting projects, Knights are committed to Grow Your Own this year and we are off to a great start.  Seeing children growing their own food, some for the first time is great. We look forward to the success of all gardens,  and will bring more information to our newsletter throughout the year".
